There are not even words to express how much I love this character. The poor guy is so lonely, and now more lost than ever, and yes, he’s flawed. He’s damaged and angry, confused and hurt, and he’s acting out in cruel and reckless ways, but he’s doing what he can with what he’s got, which isn’t much.

I wanna give Matt Donovan a witness, people, because he is one of this crew, he threw himself under the bus to save his friend (even though he isn’t really on the best of terms with said friend, in light of recent events) and even if it was foolish, it’s the same thing that pretty much everyone else that’s been a character for more than five minutes on this show has done at some point.

Can someone please just teach him the secret fucking handshake already? Preferably before he does something really stupid and dangerous like resurrect his (rather suspicious) dead sister just so he has someone to talk to.
